Scott Wilson and Tom Nations maintained SNAP as a Mac and PC based nodal program for end users starting around 1992.

SNAP is built upon the efforts of many individuals. Since it is a modular package of technologies, sections of code can be traced back as far as 1980. Significant contributions were provided by the following individuals;

The current version has benefited from the feedback from users in Anchorage, Houston, Jakarta, Midland and other locations worldwide. The authors would like to specifically thank Tom Nations for his dedication to advancing and teaching Gas lift Technology for 40 years, Mike Harris for the excellent additions to the original help file and Joe Anders for blistering critiques of the original program itself.

We also thank Grant Dornan, Greg Stephenson, Anu Sood, Bill Hearn, Harris Ghozali, Sam Smith, Neal McCaslin, Dave Rich, Mona Jaja, and Mark Pilcher, among others for their time and patience as we worked to bring this application into existence.

Most recently Mohan Kelkar has checked the SI units features and has joined Joe Anders in the ranks of those precise enough to report punctuation errors. Without their help, all of those little nuisance bugs would still be there.

In 2005, Petroskills funded the implementation of the SI units features and that has helped the program remain state of the art.
